About The Salon

The idea was spawned three years prior, when the entrepreneur, beauty guru and mother of two gave thought to the constant scheduling, time commitment and cost it took to get her hair, nails, makeup and lashes applied all at different locations. She envisioned an easier way for women juggling careers, family, friends and social events with limited time to get from A to Z. Influenced by her lifelong commitment to beauty and wellness, Eden says “I wanted to create an environment that was peaceful and relaxed, yet proficient for women who want to look and feel beautiful both inside and out.” EDEN is a long awaited gift for women who are busy and looking to add simplicity to their hectic lifestyles.

Sassoon wanted to create a studio where women could feel at home, relaxed, invited and not judged. The studio’s design direction is modern Malibu-chic – primarily using natural materials, mostly different styles of wood, and soft colors while creating an open home environment. Stylist chairs are Takara Belmont Curved Art in dark wood. Additionally, to create a feeling of home, Sassoon chose to reupholster all of the sink chairs and hair styling chairs with home fabrics from Summit located at the Pacific Design Center.

Beautiful black and white photography depicting the Los Angeles/Malibu beach lifestyle, as well as fashion and beauty, fill the walls of the space. Several pieces were provided by LA based photographers who are close friends of Sassoon, including Davis Factor, Scott Caan and Patrick Hoelk. To add to the home environment, Sassoon and her staff have also provided family photographs to fill the studio. Located at the popular Sunset Plaza, this location follows EDEN’s large sized footprint that has 12 hair stations, 3 makeup stations and 2 manicure stations.
